On Wednesday, June 25, 2025, we had the pleasure of attending the American Chamber of Commerce in Poland’s 4th of July Celebration, United in Friendship and Freedom, held in the stunning Kubicki Arcades beneath Warsaw’s Royal Castle.

The event opened with the Presentation of Colors by the 15th Armored Division Color Guard, followed by warm, heartfelt speeches from Marta Poslad, AmCham Chairwoman, and Daniel Lawton, Chargé d’Affaires a.i. at the U.S. Embassy. Their words set the tone for a celebration that was both festive and meaningful.

Guests enjoyed live jazz music, mingled under the soft summer light, and took part in a charity raffle that added a philanthropic touch to the evening.

About the event

Since 1994, the American Chamber of Commerce in Poland has hosted 4th of July celebrations that have grown into a longstanding tradition within the American business and Warsaw communities. These events go beyond commemorating American Independence – they are a meaningful expression of the shared values and unity of the U.S.-Poland relationship.

Kubicki Arcades as a unique venue

What made the evening truly special was the venue itself. The Arkady Kubickiego (Kubicki Arcades) and the surrounding Royal Castle Gardens proved to be a perfect setting for such a bespoke celebration.

Nestled between historic architecture and beautifully manicured greenery, the space offered both grandeur and intimacy. We also had a chance to sightsee the most important chambers of the Royal Castle.

The evening kicked off with a sudden and heavy downpour. But not long after, the rain stopped and the sun came out, bathing the gardens in a warm, golden glow.

I ended up leaving the event, just as one of my all-time favourite songs started playing, Frank Sinatra’s “My Way.” It was a fitting and emotional note to end a beautiful event.
