What an Experience at the Conventa Trade Show in Ljubljana!

Wow, what an incredible few days it’s been at the Conventa Trade Show in Ljubljana! Although the Polish Tourism Organisation – Poland Convention Bureau has taken part three times, this was my first time at Conventa in the beautiful capital of Slovenia – and what a debut it was!

Destinations Campfire Panel

Conventa isn’t just about business meetings. The networking events were a fantastic chance to connect with new people in a more relaxed setting—and I made some great connections that I know will lead to exciting projects in the future!

One of the highlights for me was definitely the Destinations Campfire panel. It was an honour to present alongside colleagues from Montenegro, Bulgaria, Slovenia, Serbia, and Slovakia, showcasing some of the most exciting events, congress venues, and hotels from our countries.

  • Emil Shukadarov – Bulgarian Convention Bureau
  • Jan Orsic – Ljubljana Convention Bureau
  • Dejan Crnomarkovic – Serbia Convention Bureau
  • Veronika Holečková – Slovakia Travel
  • Dragana Djurić – National Tourism Organisation of Montenegro
  • Jaroslaw Marciuk, Poland Convention Bureau – Polish Tourism Organisation

Over the course of the trade show, I had more than 20 scheduled meetings, chatting with industry professionals about potential collaborations, Poland’s latest developments, transport accessibility, safety, incentive programmes, and specific conference requests.
