Jarosław Marciuk, known simply as Jaro, is a proactive professional specialising in the Meetings and Events Industry, Destination Marketing, and Digital Marketing. With over 20 years of international experience in tourism, marketing, and sales – including roles at Accor Hotels, Jacobs Media Group (Connections Events), and Inspiros Consulting – Jaro has demonstrated expertise across diverse aspects of the industry. He holds degrees from the University of Gdańsk and Kozminski University in Warsaw.

Currently serving as the Chief Digital Marketing Specialist at the Polish Tourism OrganisationPoland Convention Bureau, Jaro continues to lead and innovate in the realm of digital strategies for destination promotion.

He has a keen interest in technology and e-marketing trends, leveraging this passion to remain at the forefront of industry developments. Actively involved in mobile photography and Instagram Igers communities, Jaro advocates for the power of social media in fostering long-lasting human connections. He highlights its significance in both tourism and personal branding, particularly for key opinion leaders and graduates entering the market.

He is a co-author of the Vademecum Współczesnego Event Managera book (Vademecum of the Contemporary Event Manager), contributing a 40-page chapter focused on digital marketing within Destination Management Organisations (DMOs).

Jaro has also contributed as a lecturer at numerous conferences, meetings, and workshops, demonstrating his strong passion for sharing knowledge and experience (including the international ICCA Central European Chapter Meeting 2025)

He takes great pleasure in inspiring individuals in their career development, fostering innovative projects, and nurturing enthusiasm and motivation.

He was recognised among Eventex’s The 100 Most Influential People in the Event Industry in Europe (2024), The 100 Most Influential Venue Professionals (2024), and The Top 100 Most Influential People in the Events Industry (2021). Additionally, he has served as an Eventex Awards Jury Member (2012, 2024, 2025, 2026).

Recently, he was voted as one of The 100 Most Influential People in Creative Communication (2025) and The 100 Most Influential Marketing Professionals (2025) on the Symbol Awards Powerlist.

Furthermore, he was named among the Top 30 LinkedIn Influencers in the MICE Industry by Kongres Magazine (2022), served as a Jury Member for the Grand Mobile Photo – International Mobile Photography Contest (2021, 2022), and was designated as an Instagram Suggested User by Instagram in 2015.

Jarosław is a mentor in the 2025/2026 edition of the Future Professionals Mentoring Programme, serving as one of its 14 selected mentors. The programme is organised by the MPI Poland Chapter (Meeting Professionals International).
